10 Reasons why you want your kitchen installation project managed

Seeing the faces of my clients when a project is finished is one of the best feelings. Managing a project can often be stressful due to the disruption and mess involved. But having your project managed can not only reduce the stress it can also have so many other benefits. With this in mind we have put together our 10 reasons why you want your project managed.

Let’s start with the 3 P’s of project management.

People

How hard is it to find professional tradesmen? Your project deserves to have a team of people that are not only highly skilled, take pride in their work, but also committed to the schedule presented to them. At Your Space Living we have a core team of tradesmen that we have worked with us for years. This ensures that we have the right craftsmen on the job when they are needed.

Process

The process fuses together your ideas, needs and wants to create a design that will work for you and your family, not only today but for the years to come. The process is about sourcing the right products to bring the design alive, as well as adding those small touches that make your design complete. The process is not about ‘sales’, ‘free design’ and ‘pay later plans’ its about supplying a high quality continuous service throughout the entire process.

Performance

As a furniture designer, I have a sharp eye for the details. As the project manager it is my responsibility to ensure that each tradesman provides a luxurious finish and detailing.

Logistics

For your project to run to schedule you need to make sure that the right equipment and products arrive on site at the right time, failure to do so can cause rising costs and delays and in turn - stress. If your project is managed there are no frantic phone calls, all the stress is taken away so you can enjoy seeing your vision come to life.

Financial Control

One of the easiest things that can run away with you on a project is the finance. Without a project manager you will be required to liaise with all the different tradesmen, suppliers and everyone else involved with the project yourself. This includes payments and budgeting. It is my role as a project manager to set and control the budget as well as managing the finances. You only have one payment to make and I control the rest.

Quality Matters

What is the saying, ‘Quality is better than Quantity’? Your home deserves quality and we only work with the best suppliers to produce a finish that is nothing less than distinction. As the advert states, “this is not an ordinary kitchen it’s a YSL kitchen”.

Crisis Management

No matter how good the project manager, occasionally something can go wrong. But no need for you to have a nervous breakdown, it is my role to make sure you know of the issue and resolve it as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Safety Matters

Any work on your home has the potential to become dangerous. A project manager is there to keep your home and your project team safe. At Your Space Living we also apply for any license required and obtain the certificates needed. When you work with us you know you are in safe hands.

Passion

I guess this could be the 4th P of project management. Simply put; I’m passionate about exceptional design, exquisite finishing and whilst providing an highly incomparable and honest service. Your Space Living is not just a design service; we change houses into homes and create a timeless design for your lifestyle.

Why Not!

Sadly I often see the evidence of when a project has not been managed correctly. I get frustrated by the big brand ‘false offers’ and service.. What we provide is an exclusive service that will meet the need of most budgets. Why would you want the stress and hassle?
