Sugru fridge repair saved my fridge freezer

As the director of a company that sells brand new kitchens and kitchen appliances, this post may seem a little strange. However, I don’t want to sell an appliance to someone who doesn’t need one. Especially when the appliance in question is a fridge freezer. Disposing of fridges and freezers is dirty work. So if we can make our current appliances work efficiently for longer, then I’m all for it. Therefore, here is a tip on how to fix the plastic lining of your fridge.

Recently my fridge freezer suffered what I assumed was a terminal breakage. The white plastic door liner had cracked and the crack was such that the bottle tray was rendered useless. Due to the way the fridge is constructed, I would need a new door to resolve this problem. The cost of replacing the door would have been almost as much as a new appliance.
