A BOLD SHAKER KITCHEN IN MARINE

Mr and Mrs Bray commissioned Your Space Living to transform their Cardiff home. Their tired old kitchen at the rear of the house was trapped in the small corner of an open plan kitchen diner. After a long and thorough design process. The kitchen was moved into the the dining area and vice versa.

Every aspect of this project was controlled by Your Space Living. That included the design process, the building work logistics, the kitchen installation and final decoration. The home has been totally transformed and the Bray family are delighted with the results. The biggest statement of this room was to go with a bold colour choice in Marine and contrast it agains the purest white. These solid wood shaker doors look stunning and this open space will continue to beat at the heart of the home for years to come.

MOVING THE KITCHEN

The decision to move the kitchen into the original dining area was not for the feint of heart. This process required considerable changes in order to make the new space ready for a kitchen. All of the services, gas, water and electricity, needed to be moved in order to accommodate the new kitchen. This decision added to the workload and the associated costs of the project but the new space has added priceless benefits to family life in this beautiful home.
