MAKING THE MOST OF SMALL SPACES

Mr and Mrs Greaney lived in a stunning penthouse apartment overlooking Cardiff Bay. It was beautiful. Unfortunately, the “contract builder’s” kitchen didn’t match the quality of the rest of their home. The kitchen consisted of dated bright red gloss units. These were badly designed and didn’t utilise the small space efficiently. Your Space Living came to the rescue. Our mission was to maximise this small area and create more storage space. We also had another challenge. The new kitchen needed to be installed around the existing stone worktops and wall tiles, which the clients loved and wanted to retain. Our fitters literally defied physics and the installation whent without a hitch. There wasn’t room for a handleless kitchen but Schuller do offer equally stylish alternatives. This Lima range in Belfort Oak with the Nova stone grey wall units proved to be the perfect choice. Approximately one year after the installation, Mr and Mrs Greaney had a change in family circumstances and needed to move on. When they put the apartment up for sale, it was snapped up by the first viewer without any price adjustment. Apparently the kitchen was a major factor in the buyer’s decision.
