OPEN PLAN KITCHEN WITH A SPLASH OF JADE
Open plan kitchens are becoming the new norm for people extending out to the rear of their homes. Mr and Mrs Chowdrey wanted to create a truly multifunctional space that catered for their busy way of life.
The contemporary handleless German kitchen units look simple and stylish, with straight lines that are proportional to the space and encourage the eye to flow around the room. The cabinet colour combinations are white and lava black offer a clean contrast that looks stylish and minimalist.
The colour influences start in this area with a jade glass splash back and upstand that draws the eye, whilst the white shelving almost disappears into the wall. Moving around the space is a large entertainment area for watching television and dining. The complementary greys and blues help to bring life to the room and maintain the calming pallet.
