This simple, clean and understated master bathroom was the finishing touch to a stunning Cowbridge home. We had already transformed the kitchen and ensuite over the last few years and we were delighted to be called back for this project. The original room looked dated with busy tiling and poor coordination. This young family with an eye for good design wanted the room overhauled to a high standard. However, they were budget conscious, having already invested heavily in other parts of the house. This design struck the right balance. Services were left mostly in the same position, which is crucial to keeping costs down. Whilst tiling was kept to a minimum, with a reduced tile count from the previous design.
But all this carful budgeting didn't detract from the freedom to create a room that's both beautiful and practical. The integrated, back to wall toilet adds to the clean minimalist look, whilst the illuminated bath side niche enabled the design to incorporate wall mounted taps for a seamless look. The oak effect ceramic tiles look amazing, adding a natural look that complemented the neutral 600x300 brick bonded tiles around the walls and on the floor.
