Sue inherited a steam room style shower when she purchased her Cardiff home. Whilst the shower itself was functional, it had reached the point where maintenance had become unviable. It was time to renovate, completely.

With the steam enclosure out of the way, we were able to design a room that was considerably more open. Sue insisted that we keep the built-in cupboard in the corner of the room. We were happy to oblige and love how well it came back to life with a splash of paint and a sprinkle of TLC.  The design process with Sue was extremely productive. As with all projects, budget was high on the agenda and extravagant features were off the table. The result is this understated but stylish room that is predominantly white and blue, with black details.

The full glass shower enclosure makes a huge difference when compared to the previous steam room. Light floods into the space and bounces off the white metro tiled walls. The black components and brassware. The patterned blue floor tiles add just enough interest to the room, whilst the complementary blue vanity unit adds the finish touch.
