When Mr and Mrs Jones of Penarth took on a complete ground floor renovation project, along with kitchen extension, they looked for a team that would help them achieve a top quality result. Part of that team was Jo Buckerfield and Your Space Living. We were charged with creating a stunning kitchen and utility room that was to be located inside a substantial extension that opened out onto the court yard.
Mrs Jones favoured traditional styling but wanted a kitchen that was fully up to date and packed with modern features. The raised and fielded doors offer the traditional look and we chose two paint finishes to add a little contrast. The outer units were all painted in suede colour, whilst the island was in stone. The worktops in this kitchen are a work of art that took considerable effort to put into place. Long runs of Silestone Unsui over the outer base units, whist the island is home to huge slabs of Sensa Granite in Glacial Blue.
A huge amount of effort went into this kitchen and all the work was worth it. The overall room is a site to behold and Mr and Mrs Jones were thrilled with the result.
