Interior design studio now open for business in Llantwit Major

Finally I opened the new design studio in Llantwit Major last Friday. I decided on a low key opening so that I can get a feel for things before promoting an open evening in few weeks time.

The last few days before I opened the doors were really tiring and not without some stress. As with all these things you want everything in place and perfect but there’ll be tweaks along the way as I settle in.

With all the time spent working lately, I have forgotten just how beautiful the town of Llantwit Major is. In an effort to promote the town and encourage people to visit me in the studio, I went on a mission to take some photos of the town and the beach

When you look a little closer, you begin to see all the of the details of your environment that you normally take for granted. Llantwit Major is a great little town and I have decided to make a promise to myself to take the time to become part of the town where I live and now work. I’m going to enjoy my surroundings much more and attempt, in my own small way, to make a difference to the town and the people of Llantwit’.

Inside the studio we are showing a mixture of materials and finishes. we have a display of Schuller Nova Lava Black base units mixed with the Brand new Ravenna Belfort Oak vertical grain door. The two colours compliment each other perfectly. The display shows a laminate worktop however an engineered stone, granite or Corian would also work perfectly here.

The Studio also shows a Classic Oak shaker timber door finish – Schuller Castell Oak. This combined with Silestone Tigris Sand worktop and a variety of lighting choices from Sensio give an overall idea of what can be achieved. Silestone comes with a 10 year manufacturers warranty, offering great value to compliment the fantastic quality.

We have a Living room display in Schuller Nova White gloss with a mixture of open “petrol” shelving. There are a number of painted choices to choose from to compliment your colour scheme whether being within an open plan space or in room of its own. The options are extremely flexible and offer many clever design opportunities.

We have a huge range of door samples on hand to look at. These range from the traditional and classic to the contemporary. Along with the wide range of doors, we have a beautiful selection of handles to compliment just about any style. This studio is the culmination of many years of hard work and meticulous planning and I can’t express how excited I am about this whole experience.
